To DAMA NYC Members:
Well even though the summer is here, we seem to still be busy getting done for the chapter. We have been working on special marketing agreements with other organizations so we can get the word out regarding future events. We are also establishing membership agreements with PMINYC so share member access to association events. We have been busy. Please read the following detail announcements:
DAMA NYC Virtual Meeting - June 18th
Our Virtual event on June 18th was a huge success. We featured Bob Seiner who talked about how we all are data stewards in the day to day performing of our jobs. We had over 130 people registered virtually. Maybe we should have more of them. Let us know what you think using the text message to the president.
Corinium Marketing agreement and event
DAMA NYC has recently participate in a marketing agreement with Corinium Global. They will have a three-day Data Analytics conference July 14 -16th. It is called Data & Analytics: Alive. They have asked me to extend to all DAMA NYC members the opportunity to register for the conference free of charge. The conference is a complete Virtual event. There is still time to register for the event. If you would like to learn more about the conference or register for it, please go directly to the site and use the following link:

In return, Corinium will be helping us market DAMA Day in the fall.

DAMA Day Event
Our DAMA Day event is still scheduled for October 29th. We are not sure if it will remain an onsite event or Virtual one. We will have to see what NY state will allow us to do and when AIG will open its doors to outside visitors. We will keep you posted.
We hope everyone will have a safe but fun summer. We hope to see you back in the Fall. Be safe everyone.
Regards,
Denis Kosar, President DAMA NYC |
