DAMA NYC – April 2017 President’s Report

To our DAMA New York City Members:

I first want to apologize for having to cancel our March monthly meeting. The good news is the meeting has been rescheduled for April 20th. Please check the details on our website and note that the meeting will be held at a new location. Knowledgent has been kind enough to provide us with a venue for this meeting. Their office is located at 381 Park Ave South, NYC.

As you are aware, we had to cancel our March meeting, due to the "blizzard". Unfortunately, one of the meeting registrants, didn’t receive notification about the cancelation and came all the way into NYC. I feel very bad that happened. It is important that when you register for a meeting, you use your own email address. If you do, we can get back to you, if we are changing the date/time or canceling the meeting. If you are using another person’s email, he or she might not read our cancellation email and notify you. As a result please make sure you use your current email address.

Well on a friendlier note, here it is April already and we have less than two months before DAMA Day 2017. Which I'm sure you know, is on May 18th at 590 Madison Avenue IBM. Please take advantage of the early bird rate of only $149 for DAMA-NYC members. We already have almost thirty people registered so don’t get shut out of the event.

See you all on April 20th.
