Well another month has gone by and most of us are still closed up in our homes. We are not really doing much and waiting for the country to reopen. We still have two events booked in the program.
DAMA NYC 2020 Program
Peter Aiken has agreed to be our second industry speaker for DAMA Day on Oct 29th. His topic will on data literacy. He will collaborate topics and content with John Ladley
Because of Peter's movement to DAMA Day, we are now looking for a speaker for our June 18th meeting. We have a few speakers waiting in the wings. Once we have the speaker confirmed, we will update our website.
PMINYC Certification Training
We have recently established a relationship with PMINYC. The purpose was so we could invite each other’s members to key events. PMINYC is currently making available a four-day prep class for those interested in pursuing PMI certification. They are offering a special training course to be given in May over a four-day period. DAMA NYC members will be given a member discount. This notice has been sent out last week to all members. CDMP Certification Training
Dave Marco and Anne Marie Smith are offering DAMA members a discounted price to prepare for CDMP certification. For additional details and registration go to the DAMA NYC website.
