To DAMA NY Members:
It is now February and we are busy finishing up our 2020 program for the first half of the year.
January Meeting – We had an excellent showing for our meeting on January 22 sponsored by NYU. Hochun Ho was our speaker and he presented “Data Literacy”. This is a hot topic and was well received by the membership in attendance. Thank you again Hochun for this fantastic presentation. We also would like to thank NYU for sponsoring the venue at 105 East 17th st NYC.
DAMA Day 2020 - We continue to be busy working on our DAMA Day event which is scheduled for May 14, 2020. It will again be sponsored by AIG at 175 Water St NYC. We now have the event open for meeting Registration on our website so register early. Member should be aware that we will continue to have the early bird price of $99. This covers all presentations, decks as well as Breakfast and Lunch. Non-Members are charged $249.00 but that includes a full membership worth $75.00.
Besides John Ladley, we have three Speaking Sponsors already confirmed: Erwin, DataCamp and Impetus. We are also working on 4-5 other leads to help with Catering and non-speaking Sponsorship. Please continue to go on our website www.dama-ny.com and check out what events we have the rest of the year. We have taken the time to prepare an excellent program so please plan on joining us for those meetings you are able to make. Register early for those meeting. Thank you.
