With the advent of Big Data, Data Lakes, Data Governance and No-SQL, what place does Enterprise Data Modeling still have in our organizations?

 

In the last few years, the use of technologies for storing data has blossomed from a homogenous world of relational data bases to a heterogeneous world that includes distributed data structures like Hadoop, graph databases, document databases, etc.
